World’s End {Macedon Ranges Family Photographer}

So this is World’s End. Quite nice don’t you think?! Brother’s Farm, Worlds End, England. This is where my husband and his twin brother grew up, in this 16th century farmhouse at the end of a very, very quiet English country lane surrounded by fields. So without further ado, meet the Anglo-Irish Selby’s as we…

The Good Life {Macedon Ranges Lifestyle Photographer}

I love autumn. I always have, it’s my absolute favourite time of year. Crisp frosty mornings, turning into glorious warm days, cool nights with open fires, hearty food and the colour. Oh the colour! Reds, yellows, oranges, browns combined with that beautiful golden light that seems to magically appear. So it’s no wonder then that…

That chicken shot is hilarious!! What a beautiful part of the world to live in. Gorgous family and gorgeous images x

Lea - June 4, 2011 - 4:56 am

Oh Kim !! I love the story behind these ( my absolute fave though is Grandpa with the cuppa!! ) .. we too grew up with vege patches and chooks .. but we lived in a TOWN, so I always felt a bit funny about my semi-hippy parents and how dad rigged up the bath to water the garden… nobody else in town lived like us!

5 seconds down the road though was my best friend, their farm and her brothers .. so much fun being chased by geese and slipping in mud, or getting a ride on the tractor. Fabulous memories .. now i’m remembering, I wish we had pictorial evidence of such carefree fun days :) xx

Erin Byrne - June 4, 2011 - 1:39 pm

What a beautiful place and beautiful family. Your pictures show exactley why you would love to live there. Gorgeous autumn trees, beautiful light, wide open spaces. You have told a really special story for this family, how cool for their kiddies to grow up there too! And how cool is that veggie garden and chooks!

Alicia Adamopoulos - June 4, 2011 - 11:09 pm

Gorgeous shoot! I’ve viewed many images over the years of family shoots in the autumn and I’m with you; it is THE best time to shoot. The colours are so amazing and warm and, particularly with this lovely family you have photographed, it has really brought them to life. A totally gorgeous rendition of an old but never tired theme of autumn and family.

I’d be proud as punch if these were my family photos. :)

ps- I loved the name of your duck.

Robyn Geering - June 6, 2011 - 11:48 pm
