Oh to be a kid again.
Mum and Dad are your complete heros and you trust in them 110%. They have the magic kiss when you hurt yourself, they can scare away cupboard monsters, they are Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and tooth fairy all rolled into one. They will also catch you when you jump into thin air! Which is exactly what Miss M’s Dad did every time she jumped from a high concrete monument over a concrete path. She never ever doubted for a second that he wouldn’t be there to catch her, and he never let her down.
I loved photographing this family and their special bond, especially also as their two girls are so close in ages to my two boys.
